| Biography 
The British-born actress Vanessa Angel began her career  at  age  16
  as  a  model  when  she  was discovered by world renown agent Eileen
  Ford. She admits to gaining life experience when, at such  an  early
  age,  she  relocated to New York, traveled the world and appeared on
  magazine covers from "Cosmopolitan" to "Vogue."  Angel's  transition
  from  modeling to acting came rather suddenly when, in 1985, she was
  chosen by director John Landis to play a Russian spy  in  the  film,
  "Spies  Like  Us."  She  quickly  mastered  a Russian accent and was
  later featured in the Paul McCartney  video  of  the  same  name.  A
  versatile  actress who has studied under Sondra Lee and Frank Casaro
  at The Actors Studio in  New  York,  Angel  has  had  roles  in  the
  feature  films, "Killer Instinct, " "King of New York, " "Stop Or My
  Mom Will Shoot" with Sylvester Stallone and  "Sleep  With  Me"  with
  Eric   Stoltz  and  Meg  Tilly.  In  1994,  she  co-starred  on  the
  theatrical film, "Cityscrapes" - a  tragic  story  of  young  adults
  with  dysfunctional  relationships  who live in Los Angeles, and she
  just finished a  co-starring  role  in  the  upcoming  feature  film
  "Kingpin,  "  with  Woody  Harrelson and Randy Quaid. In addition to
  her work on film, Angel has  guest  starred  on  several  television
  series  including,  "Melrose  Place,  "  on  which  she  played  the
  recurring role of a bisexual model,  and  "Reasonable  Doubts."  She
  was  also featured in the Jackie Collins mini-series "Lady Boss" and
  the high-rated USA Network movie, "The Cover Girl Murders."
